The Water quality is tested by 'SEPA' the Scottish Environmental Protection Agency who are a powerful body which is responsible for the protection of the environment in Scotland.

Their task is to protect the land, air and water - the core elements that form the fabric of the environment. They do so in partnership with others, and in a way that enables Scotland to sustain a strong and diverse economy.

Too visit more current data on the water quality at {Pease Bay} or visit the main {SEPA} site to learn more about how they work.
